Principal of the School
Dr Serge Solomons is a medical doctor and lead Pastor of Every Nation Randburg in Johannesburg. He is the principal and Strategic team leader of Equilibria season 2 in view of his passion for the development of young people to fulfil their God given purposes, callings and to find the careers that best suits them and to be equipped to achieve success in life. Dr Solomons has been involved with Equilibria for the last 10 years and continues to reach more young people with this incredible gap year programme.
nerine erasmus
Operations Director & Program Manager
Nerine Erasmus is a devoted wife, mother of many, both children and animals, and a passionate educator. With a background as a trained early years and remedial teacher, as well as a qualified and admitted attorney, she brings a rich blend of professional expertise and life experience to everything she does.
Nerine loves being part of Equilibria, where she can fully embrace her passion – helping people heal and grow. It brings her great joy to walk alongside the students as they become independent, resilient, skillful and healthy young adults.
Handri De la harpe
Founder
Dr De la Harpe started Equilibria in 2010 and refined the courses and career guidance program with great success. Around 600 students have completed the Equilibria Gap Year and are thriving. Dr De la Harpe serves as an external advisor.
